And so it begins…

So I’ve made the leap and joined the exciting world of blogging.

I guess for me it’s an attempt to return to 2007 – a time when I breathed, ate and dreamt nothing but words, words and more words. This was the year I graduated from my creative writing degree at Glamorgan University.

And although I am living the dream and earning a wage by writing everyday – working as a local news hack – I cannot help but think I need to tap back into my creative side and finish the 12,000-word novel collecting dust under my bed.

Dusting off the books...

Why now you may ask. I am guessing it’s either because I’m having an early mid-life crisis, my new role as a mum or simply because it really is my number one goal in life to publish the book I’m promised everyone has inside of them.

Either way, wish me luck… I know I’m going to need it.
