The Underpass Artist (My Sunday Photo – Week 4)

Art by H. Carter.

In an attempt to brighten up the two underpasses in Holt, Norfolk, artists and groups were commissioned to create large art projects to cover the graffiti-ridden walls.

Many of them still remain today, while some of them have fallen victim to the never-ending graffitt, but this one in particular caught my eye.

Signed with “H. Carter” in the bottom right-hand corner, the picture is inspiring. I think I may know who the artist is but if anyone can help to confirm for me, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you for hosting #MySundayPhoto OneDad3Girls.

UPDATE: My suspicions were correct and this is a painting completed by an old school friend’s sister – Hayley Carter. Superb work. I hope she still paints.
