NaNoWriMo (Day 2)

Words written: 1,069

Highs: Managing to write more than 1,000 words on a work day

Lows: Not having enough hours in the day to do more writing

Surprises: Choosing to write over sleep

Total words to date: 2,790

Extract (unedited): “Medical aid come to me shortly after that but the ref turned a blind eye to what had happened and I was taken off the pitch while my ankle painted itself in shades of black and purple. It looked like the Milky Way.”

It’s 11.30pm and I’m super, super tired. Yes I know it’s only day two… (eek!)

As well as work, I had to review a show tonight, which left me little time to write. Thankfully I already knew what I wanted to write about and I surprised myself by managing to get more than 1,000 words down after a very hectic day.

It’s a long way off but I’m starting to see a tiny, little bit of light at the end of the very long tunnel.

I will keep telling myself I want to finish this novel, I need to finish this novel.

I hope things are going well for you also.

Happy NaNoWriMo-ing!
