Countryside Walk (My Sunday Photo – Week 15)

Autum is my favourite time of year for taking a walk in the countryside.

As long as I am wrapped up warm, protected by my wellie boots and can carry a brew in an on-the-go mug, I’m happy.

It’s even better when I can take my children with me and act like a big kid myself, rolling in a mountain of leaves and throwing them in the air – that’s both the boys and the leaves!

This week’s My Sunday Photo is of my eldest having fun in the leaves during our walk to see his favourite sites: Straw Ra-Ra (an old hay bale) and Predator X Lake (a pond).

The smile on his face says it all really.

My boys just make those chilly walks the warmest I’ve ever had.

Thanks OneDad3Girls for hosting this week’s #MySundayPhoto.

I took so many but it was because of the way the leaves were falling in this photo that I decided to use this one 🙂
