The Icicle – A Microstory

Its crystalesque quality is emphasised by the light of the sun.

Warmth lures it out of its frozen slumber; it is fooled into believing the golden rays protect it.

But the icicle, new and fresh, does not yet know life’s cruel games.

      Thank you. It was a very different style for me this week and took a lot of tweaking – especially for so few words! Although that’s probably why I had to fiddle so much.
